The coast around \u201cFurusato Umi no Ie Tsutsujiso\u201d on the south side of the island has become a sandy beach.
Although it is called a bathing beach, it means that it is shallow and the water quality is suitable for bathing, but there are no lifeguards or rescue personnel. Please swim at your own risk.
Barbecues and other self-catering are not permitted within the grounds. There is also no campsite, so those wishing to stay overnight will find it convenient to use \"Tsutsujiso.\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/td>\n\"\"<\/td>\nThe origin of the place name comes from a legend that it is the beach where the princess of Himetomari played the koto to comfort her father.
Near the beach, there is a monument to Emperor Sutoku's poetry and another to Wakayama Bokusui's poetry. There is also a memorial to the hit song \"Oyaji no Umi,\" written and composed by a Naoshima native on Naoshima, and the song plays there.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
In the summer, the \"Naoshima Fire Festival\" is held throughout the island. Alongside artist live performances and local entertainment, over 1,800 fireworks are launched from barges offshore, drawing large crowds.<\/td>\n\"\"<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
