He featured the Benesse House Museum as the setting for the climax of a fight between Bond and his arch-nemesis.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This memorial hall was established on July 7, 2005, as part of efforts to attract filming for an adaptation of the work, with local volunteers raising funds and the cooperation of Kagawa Prefecture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Inside, there are exhibits including a giant heart object from the novel, movie posters from the first film (some are reproductions), materials, related merchandise, and original videos filmed on Naoshima, making it enjoyable for both 007 fans and those who aren't.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Since opening, promotional and recruitment activities such as the Bond Girl Contest and the Fan Project were held over many years. However, the film production never materialized, and as the facilities and exhibits became noticeably worn, the museum closed its doors at the end of February 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">We would like to express our gratitude to all of our visitors, everyone who has supported us from the opening preparations to the present, all of our supporters, and everyone else who has been involved.
