Relaxed traditional Japanese house book cafe

Shimacoya is a book cafe renovated from a traditional Japanese house that is approximately 130 years old.

We offer cafe menu items, primarily featuring our specialty "Jumbo Pudding" and cream soda, which evoke a Showa retro atmosphere. We also sell books selected by our staff on topics such as DIY, nature, travel, culture, design, and architecture, allowing you to relax and enjoy reading on our engawa (veranda) or in the garden.

At night, you can also use "tent stay," where you can sleep in a tent inside the old folk house.
