The "Naoshima Slag Pottery Experience Studio," which has been loved by many for a long time, closed on March 31, 2017.
We offered ceramic art classes using Naoshima's unique clay mixed with "molten slag," which was generated during the process of dealing with industrial waste illegally dumped on Teshima. However, due to the completion of the industrial waste treatment, access to "molten slag" will no longer be possible, and we have closed the facility.

Many people have created various works. Some of them may be displayed in your homes. I hope that each time you see them, you will be reminded of Naoshima.
Some artworks will be exhibited at "Eco Town House Naoshima," a free rest area just a short walk from Miyaura Port, so we hope you'll stop by when you visit.
