Minesweeper Naoshima has docked.

2017/08/06

As of August 6th, the minesweeper Naoshima is docked at Miyaura Port.
Minesweeping vessels are small vessels in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force whose mission is to ensure the safety of shipping lanes by disposing of mines in the water and on the seabed.
The ship names are also often derived from Japanese islands, and as the fourth vessel of the Sugashima-class minesweeper, it was named "Naoshima" after Naoshima Island.

It is open to the general public until 3 PM on the 7th, and admission is free.
Those who wish may stop by Miyaura Port. (Note: Times may change due to typhoons.)
