When you talk about a winter tradition, it's twinkling illuminations, and there are places that shine on Naoshima too.
Is the town "naorieru" too at the island's gateway "Miyano-ura Port"? (Last year's article)Here) are installed every year, but there's actually a hidden spot on the island.

Since it's at a private residence, I can't share the location, but the illumination is astonishing – it's 6 stories high!
This is a hidden gem that most Naoshima islanders have probably visited at least once.
Lovely illuminations that continue to evolve every year.
