Before I knew it...!!

2022/11/17

The Setouchi Triennale 2022 successfully concluded on November 6th, thanks to everyone's support.

Thank you to all the visitors for your great cooperation with infection control measures and travel plans during the COVID-19 pandemic!!

Last time, it was about 60% of the usual crowd, but we had a lot of visitors, and for the first time in a while, we felt a sense of bustling activity. The tourist information center was also full of life!

すなおくんとよいちくんのコラボも!

A collaboration with Sunao and Yoichi too!

Speaking of the autumn season, on Naoshima, there were also openings of the Setouchi "___" Museum and The Naoshima Plan "Ju," and the Miyanoura area also seemed to have a livelier flow of people.

And above all, the return of "Pumpkin." For over a year, the exhibit was suspended due to the typhoon. During that time, we guided visitors who came to the island unaware of the closure and expressed their disappointment, encouraging them to return when the exhibit was revived. It made us realize once again the immense significance of the artwork "Pumpkin."

いつもの光景がもどってきてうれしいものです。

It's nice to have the usual scenery back.

I've noticed a significant increase in foreign customers lately.

We look forward to your continued visits to Naoshima, where time flows leisurely like the Seto Inland Sea, along with its many artworks and architecture!
