Once you buy it, you'll keep buying SOLASHIO?!

2022/03/25

SOLASHIO, which is extremely popular as a souvenir from Naoshima, is made with the blessings of the sea and the sun.Regarding the manufacturing process, previously,HereI introduced it.

This time, we'll share a glimpse of the class with the third graders, which has been updated with the cooperation of the staff from the tourism association who will be in charge of the lesson on the entire process of SOLASHIO becoming a product on store shelves, and the teachers from Naoshima Elementary School.

目を凝らしてみると。。コツがあるようです。

If you look closely, there seems to be a knack to it.

After crystallization as SOLASHIO, the final step is to remove fine foreign objects. Tools such as loupes and lights are used, and because it is a natural product, even minute inclusions must be checked by the naked eye.

きっちり同じ重さに計るのもコツをつかむと一発でいけるときもあるとか。

Once you get the hang of it, you can sometimes get the exact same weight in one go.

本当に最後の最後までひとつひとつ丁寧に作っています。

We are carefully making each item right up until the very end.

Then, once they're bagged to the perfect weight, they're sealed with a sealer.

The children learn as they experience how products are made.

And, using what I've learned, I'll also consider how to appeal.

This pamphlet is filled with everyone's thoughts and feelings!

Please also take a look at the handmade pamphlets I worked hard on!

Recommended ways to use it, stories about the people who work there, and various SOLASHIO stories are introduced. You can actually pick them up on the shelves at Umi no Eki "Naoshima" Naoshima Rakuichi.

This will be available until supplies last, so please do take one home as a souvenir!

The blog title was borrowed from the catchphrase within this!

Naoshima Elementary School 3rd graders, thank you very much! ☆
